Visit your chiropractor regularly

In other countries, where prevention has been particularly important for decades, many people visit their chiropractor every six months or every year, as everyone's body is different and we all have different levels of fitness. Here are some things to know about why it's good to visit your chiropractor regularly.

 

Care about what you use!

That alone should be reason enough to visit a chiropractor regularly: you use your body every moment of the day and to stay on top of your mental game, you need to take care of your body. If we were some kind of frothy lifestyle magazine, we'd be writing down the things we've been repeating ad nauseam. Like drinking at least 3 litres of water a day, standing up a little every hour at work (of course if you do physical work this doesn't apply to you), or watching your calories, maybe getting a good night's sleep, you know, 8 hours is a must.

But we are not a lifestyle magazine, we have a stronger case for chiropractic. But first, how often should you come to see me?

 

How often should you visit a chiropractor?

This is one of the most common questions I often get from patients before we even meet for the first time. My answer is usually the same. Chiropractic, like any other health care treatment, should be personalized to the needs of the individual. Everyone is different, we all have different levels of fitness, we don't have the same problems, some people are under a lot of stress, others less.

And most importantly, we have different medical histories. Therefore, when it comes to the question of how often to visit a chiropractor, there is no clear answer/time limit.

Depending on your general lifestyle, you may be happy to see me once a year for a preventive treatment. Some people I would recommend six months and some people come every six months because, although they have nothing wrong with them, they 'feel' like a treatment.

 

Why and who should visit a chiropractor regularly?

Anyone who is serious about their health and wellbeing should know that maintaining a strong body and mind takes persistent work. In fact, maintaining one's overall health and well-being is a never-ending process that takes place at every stage of life. It is important to incorporate as many healthy habits as possible into your daily routine.

So, in fact, anyone who wants to take action to improve their health is right to see a chiropractor: you don't necessarily have to wait for things to get worse, for your back or shoulder to stop, for your head to stop spinning or for you to have any pain.

 

Here are 4 reasons why you should come regularly

Of course, there are many more than 4 reasons why you should come to see me, but here are the four most important.

  1. Improve your posture

Regular chiropractic adjustments can help align the angles and curves of your spine and improve your posture. Neck problems are increasingly common in our younger generation, as they're constantly sitting in front of a computer screen or hunched over the phone: a super answer to this, for example.

 

  1. Stress relief

We don't know when or where you are reading this, but at this very moment you are surrounded by stressors that are causing you stress. Chiropractic care is a popular and easy stress relieving, stress-boosting treatment.

 

  1. Improve your mood

Chiropractic treatment is a liberating experience. Studies have shown that chiropractic treatment reduces bad hormones like cortisol and increases good hormones like dopamine and norepinephrine. Together, this makes a dramatic difference in the way the brain and body work.

 

  1. Sleep better

Millions of Hungarians suffer from sleep deprivation or chronic sleep disorders that disrupt the body's overall health. We need sleep to maintain balance, with regular chiropractic visits your sleep can improve.
